Terms of service
Last updated: 25 July 2026
Agreement
These terms are between you and Mobile Tech Media, LLC (a Wyoming, USA limited liability company), and they govern your use of the TableSage app and this website. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use TableSage. If you are under the age of digital consent where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.

What the app does
You photograph a menu. TableSage reads the dishes on it, describes what is likely to be in each one, and suggests the ones that suit the preferences you have given it. It works out those suggestions using a large language model.
It is a tool for narrowing a menu down. It is not a nutrition service, not a medical device, and not a substitute for talking to the people cooking your food.
Food, allergies and safety
This is the most important section here, so it is written plainly.
TableSage cannot tell you whether a dish is suitable for you. It has never seen the kitchen, it does not know that restaurant's recipe, and it cannot know what changed this morning. What it does is point out which dishes are worth raising before you order, including ingredients that menus routinely leave out — the fish sauce, the stock, the cooking fat.
Silence is not a clearance. If nothing is flagged on a dish, that means nothing was found — not that there is nothing there.
If you have a food allergy or intolerance, particularly a severe one, use this app to prepare the conversation and never to replace it. The restaurant is the only party that can tell you what is in your food, and the responsibility for that decision remains yours and theirs.
The app reads menus using a language model, and language models get things wrong. Treat what it tells you as a starting point, not a finding.
Subscriptions and passes
TableSage is a paid app. Scanning requires a subscription or a Trip Pass. You can look through anything you have already scanned, and your profile, without paying.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, through your App Store or Google Play account — we cannot cancel it for you, because the store holds the arrangement, not us. If an introductory offer applies, it converts to a paid period at the end unless cancelled first.
A Trip Pass does not renew. It grants access for its window and then stops. There is nothing to cancel.
Prices vary by country and are shown in the app before you pay. Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy.
If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK
You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. That right is lost once the content is delivered, if you asked for delivery to begin immediately and acknowledged that. Because these purchases are made through the app stores, the store handles withdrawal and refund requests.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- Use the app for anything unlawful, or in a way that infringes someone else's rights.
- Photograph anything you do not have the right to photograph.
- Try to extract, scrape, resell or reverse-engineer the service or the results it produces.
- Attempt to defeat the scan limits, the payment checks or the rate limits.
- Use the app to make decisions about someone else's medical needs.
Your content, and ours
Your photographs remain yours. You give us only the permission needed to process a photograph in order to return a result to you. We do not publish them, share them with anyone beyond the processing described in the privacy policy, or use them to train our own models.
The app itself, its design, its name and the material on this website belong to us. You get a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. Nothing here transfers ownership of anything.
You are free to use the suggestions the app gives you however you like — order the dish, ignore it, or tell your friends about it.
Availability
We will try to keep the service running and accurate, and we do not promise either. Scanning needs an internet connection. Features may change, and we may withdraw them.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we have to for legal or security reasons. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the app is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights your local law gives you, and nothing in these terms takes them away.
Apple App Store
If you obtained TableSage from the App Store, the following apply and prevail over anything inconsistent above.
- These terms are between you and us alone, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its contents.
- Your licence is limited to using the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
- Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
- If a third party claims the app infringes their intellectual property, we — not Apple — are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using the app.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Google Play
If you obtained TableSage from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, and the courts there have jurisdiction over disputes.
If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings there. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
Changes, and contact
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top, and we will say so in the app if the change is material. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
